Clarins Everlasting Foundation 105 Nude

Yup i have one of those faces that looks grumpy when relaxed lol i'm currently loving Clarins Everlasting foundation thanks to a client of mine who requested it for her wedding makeup so i thought i'd show you a before and after which to be honest terrifies me but it's my face nonetheless. As you can see i have problem skin, scars, redness enlarged pores around my chin and nose and the odd dry patch.

Before ~ My clean moisturised face no filter or photoshop (No primer)

After ~ I used a Real Techniques miracle complexion sponge (damp)  Lighting has changed slightly sorry =(
I bought mine off www.escentual.com The coverage is amazing yet it doesn't feel heavy on the skin, it does have the Clarins scent which some people might not like but personally i love the smell. It has a matte finish and lasts all day on my oily combination skin. I did use a sponge which really blends and helps smooth application over spots or dry patches.

How to Make Your Nail Polish More Vibrant

Hi everyone, i purchased these neon polishes on my holidays and was disappointed with how sheer they were particularly the neon yellow. When i got home i had one of those light bulb turning on over my head moments! putting a white base underneath instantly brightens just make sure the white nail polish is opaque for maximum vibrancy.

Paint your nails white to amp up your nail polish

Left ~ No white base. Right ~ White base

Jordana Sparkling Cream Eyeshadows

Hi everyone,
i thought i would show you some fun purchases i picked up from Amazon. This is the first time i've ever seen a cream eyeshadow look like this, so i had a kid in candy shop situation lol. I just love them, they are all very creamy and easy to apply however they crease almost straight away if they are not set with powder, and the purple and green are more a sheer wash of colour unlike the bronze and gold they are opaque.

The bronze one is my favourite =) I definitely have better cream eyeshadows in my collection but for strangneness and fun alone these are worth getting saying that i'm makeup obsessed!! =P

Advice from Harold Ramis worth taking to heart (RIP)

You have to live your life with a certain blind confidence that if it's your destiny to succeed at these things, it will happen, if you just continue to follow a straight path, to do you work as conscientiously and as creatively as you can, and to just stay open to all opportunity and experience. There's a performing motto at Second City...to say yes instead of no. It's actually an improvisational rule…It's about supporting the other person. And the corollary to that is if you concentrate on making other people look good, then we all have the potential to look good. If you're just worried about yourself—How am I doing? How am I doing?—which is kind of a refrain in Hollywood, you know, people are desperately trying to make their careers in isolation, independent of everyone around them.

And I've always found that my career happened as a result of a tremendous synergy of all the talented people I've worked with, all helping each other, all connecting, and reconnecting in different combinations. So…identify talented people around you and then instead of going into competition with them, or trying to wipe them out, make alliances, make creative friendships that allow you and your friends to grow together, because someday your friend is going to be sitting across a desk from you running a movie studio. ~ Harold Ramis

This advice was given to young filmmakers but it applies to all. When i look at my career as a makeup artist all the best opportunities have come from working with others. Thank you Harold  for your words of wisdom and making movie magic Ghostbusters will always be one of my favorites.

Who Ya Going to Call??
GHOSTBUSTERS!!

RIP Harold & thanks for sharing laughter with the world.

My Surprise Trip to Paris ♡

The beautiful Eiffel Tower x
City Pharma ~ Rue du four
My City-Pharma purchases =)
The Arc de Triomphe
Notre-Dame Cathedral
The "Love Lock" Bridge in Paris

It was just the average Wednesday when i got a phone call from my best friend Cathryn asking if i'd like to go to Paris. So we left the next Wednesday after that for two days to explore one of the most talked about cities in the world. The first thing we wanted to do was climb the Eiffel tower right to the top! Unfortunately for our poor legs the lifts were broken between the first and second floors, so we had to walk 669 steps to reach the second floor and get to the lift to reach the top. The best part was on the the way down and last few steps the lift started working *Face palm* but it was worth the pain the next day lol

If like myself your a big fan of you tube you'll probably know the big hype around French skincare and visting a certain pharmacy on Rue Du Four, City-Pharma. Before i left for Paris i made myself a list of everything i wanted to look out for and calculated the prices from a website called www.leguidesante.co.uk This way i knew how much i'd need in euros and also if pharmacies where maybe charging a bit more or a bit less. Our next goal was to find City Pharma and to visit every interesting looking shop in between. City Pharma didn't disappoint the prices were the lowest i'd seen and the shelves were packed with French skincare, it was so exciting to see after hearing so much about the place. It was very busy and was packed with people scrambling for their fav products. The staff were lovely and helpful and i enjoyed my visit very much.

Arc de Triomphe was top of our list the next day from there we shopped one of the most famous streets in the world Champs-Elysees where we visited Sephora which was a first time for me. I didn't buy much i purchased a few Sephora perfumes for gifts and one for myself i wanted something that said Sephora on it lol After this we headed to Notre-Dame Cathedral and the Love lock bridge which was near by. I have to say this was one of my favourite sites i seen in Paris all the buildings were so beautiful and the love lock bridge was a bit magical to me and awesome to see ♡

Over all i had a fantastic time and would go back again in a heart beat. And definitely with a bigger suitcase to bring back more skincare =D

Lots of Love

HARD ❤ CANDY ~ Fox in a BOX

Thought i would share my excitement for these two blushes i've just been loving lately. Like many of you i love watching tutorials on you tube and one of my favourite channels to watch is Shaaanxo. If you don't know of her definitely go check her out she's very sweet and alot of fun to watch. One of her recent videos was "My Top 5 Must Have Blushes" and she mentioned Hard Candy Fox in a Box was so good she ordered them from America (She lives in New Zealand) meaning she is willing to pay a good amount more than they are sold in drugstore. Which made me think they must be good to go to the effort of shipping and paying more just to get them. That was enough for me to go hunting for them =) i found mine on Amazon for £6.99 each but i noticed Ebay selling them for £4.99 ~ Hard Candy - Fox in a Box.

I shamefully ordered the Spicy & Sweet shade yesterday. I say shamefully because i'm on a spending ban! As you know makeup addicts always find some crazy excuse to buy more. Mine was what if everybody realises how amazing these blushes are and they sell out! Yes i'm pathetic lol

If you've tried these i'd love to hear your thoughts, it's always nice hearing another opinion =)

Metallics & Glitter Eyes

Hi everyone,
i decided to spend an hour playing with makeup and the following pictures are the results of that. I decided to use the MUA Undress Me Too Palette and that is what inspired the metallic eyes. Personally i love metallics and i'm never satisfied with one i always want them all on my lids at once =D I kept my eyebrows very natural by just brushing them up then applying eyebrow gel through them to help them look groomed.

MUA Undress Me Too Palette colours used ~ Fiery, Lavish, Devotion, Exposed & Corrupt.
Urban Decay ~ Strip (Discontinued) Sorry!!
Barry M ~ Fine Glitter Dust no4
StarGazer ~ Glitter Shaker, Copper
Glitz it ~ Black Glitter, purchased from Amazon
e.l.f ~ Eyebrow Treat & Tame - Ash
Benefit ~ They're Real

I recently purchased a few glitters and thought it would be fun to try them out over my metallic eyes i think they look really great, not sure this is a look i'd wear out tho lol but i had fun rocking this look around my room! =P

The blush i'm wearing is the Clarins Face and Blush Powder i blogged about not long ago. I've been using it everytime i do my makeup. It's handy having a blush and bronzer in one. The colour is perfect for my pale skin and really brightens my complexion.

Thank you so much for having a nosy =) It makes me smile. Don't forget to comment x
